Giving Back Hearts Giving Back Application
IMAGINE
needing some of
the most basic items to help improve your quality of life and not
being able to afford them – things like new furniture, clothing,
appliances, bedding, and linen. Now imagine a non-profit corporation
with a distribution program that will provide those items, free
of charge. Then you’ve imagined MSM’s “Hearts
Giving Back” Program.
MSM Economic Development has established a new, innovative
program that will provide the basic tools to enhance and improve
the quality of life of low -income families in Los Angeles county.
The “Hearts Giving Back” program will provide these
families an opportunity to receive items distributed to MSM through
corporate donations. “Hearts Giving Back” will make
a positive, dramatic impact on the lives of needy families by providing
for basic needs.
MSM has been selected as the only non-profit corporation
in California
for distribution of products donated from major corporate sponsors.
Our “hearts donations” include a full
range of clothing, furniture, bedding, linen, appliances and personal
needs items. And the best part is that the “heart donations”
are all free. Applicants pay a nominal application fee of one hundred
to one hundred and fifty dollars to offset processing applications
and the distribution process. We encourage low-income families to
apply for the “Hearts Giving Back”
program.
Our goal? To help our community one person at a time, one household
at a time. We hope to provide opportunities for an under-served
community to gain access to programs that can positively impact
their lives and increase their self-esteem. Additionally, this program
will benefit senior citizens and permanently disabled people on
a fixed income.
The “Hearts Giving Back” program will
lead to a future of hope and self-sufficiency for families in need.
